It seems totally lame to tell you now, but that news I wasn’t supposed to tell was that I sold two more PBs, one called CHICKS RUN WILD to S&S (due out January 2011) and one called THE TWELVE WORST DAYS OF CHRISTMAS to Abrams. Yay me. Hard to muster up too much excitement after dropping the ball for so long.

I think this may come off as a bit narcissistic, but don’t you think that should be an official award? “And the Sudipta Book of All Time goes to…”

YAY!! Finally! Book sales are never too lame to celebrate, no matter when the news is broken. Congrats!

Hmm. I had thought the capitalization of aforementioned award was enough. Clearly, I need to step it up.

Hey Tammi, I put a little nod to “Chicken Dance” in there. It’s one of the books the kids have in their room, along with “The Egg and I” and “Little Red Hen.”

I was speaking at a conference with Alexandra Cooper last weekend and she had Chicks with her. I looooooved it. It’s my favorite Sudipta Book of All Time. Congratulations!
